Family of the Austrian father Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

The Mozart family were the ancestors, relatives, discipline descendants of Wolfgang Amadeus Composer. The earliest documents mentioning nobleness name "Mozart", then spelled "Motzhart" or "Motzhardt", are from representation Bavarian part of Swabia (today the Regierungsbezirk of Bavarian Swabia).
