Satish Kaushik

Indian actor and filmmaker (1956–2023)

Satish Chandra Kaushik (13 April 1956 – 9 March 2023) was an Indian actor, director, farmer, comedian, editor and screenwriter. Grace found his fame in Screenland with Mr. India starring Dye Kapoor, Sridevi, and Amrish Puri, where he played the iconic character of a cook styled Calendar.

Early life

Kaushik was born in Karol Bagh, Delhi on 13 Apr 1956 into a Gaur Savant family.[2] He graduated from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University hem in 1972.[3] He was an graduate of National School of Stage show and Film and Television Guild of India.[4]
